Nice Details
LEGO's age check field
LEGO's website is lovely to use. It's very user friendly and uses lots of bold, bright colours. One particularly nice thing is this age verification check, which uses animated LEGO bricks as you type your year of birth.

Slack's theme settings
Slack has featured in this newsletter many times as their app is full of nice details, and this one is no different.
When you open Slack's settings screen, the rest of the window gets dimmed. Pretty standard stuff so far, but what really elevates it is that when you go to theme settings, the dimming is temporarily removed, so you can get a better look at your theme.

Not-so-nice details
Software updates in the BMW i4
It seems that the BMW i4 won't let you install a software update when you're parked on too steep a hill. The error message doesn't say why, but I expect it's because if something goes wrong during the update the handbrake could fail and the car will roll away.
Even with this being a legitimate limitation, this is ridiculous, and only serves to make modern technology less user friendly.
